Councillor Brunner starts clearing up cans
WHILE out walking her dogs in the playing field near her Matchborough home, Councillor Juliet Brunner was shocked to come across what she described as a ‘drinking den’ hidden in bushes.
She said: “I was most surprised to find more than 100 beer cans in the bushes. I normally come across dog poo. I would just ask residents to vigilant and report any problems to the police.”
The cans have since been cleared up by Coun Brunner and her family and she has notified her Local Policing Team and asked them to monitor the area for any antisocial behaviour.
