RESIDENTS are being invited to a charity football match, hoping to raise £1,000 for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
The match, at Alvechurch football club, has been organised by CTD Ceramic Tile Distribution and is supported by Samuel Hodge Tiling Projects.
Rebecca Hawkins, from CTD, said: “This will be our third and biggest charity football match we have organised to date, raising well over £2,500.
“We would very much like to thank Alvechurch Football Club for allowing us to use their facilities and also Scooby Sue for donating the entertainment."
She added that they are focused on raising their target of £1,000.
The match, free to attend, is on Sunday, May 19 from 10.30am with kick-off at midday.
There will also be a bouncy castle, charity raffle, face painting and balloon modelling.
