FIREFIGHTERS were called to a small car ablaze on the hard shoulder of the M42 westbound today.
The vehicle caught fire earlier this afternoon (Sunday, May 14) between junction 2 for the A441, Alvechurch and Redditch, and junction 1 for the A38/B4096 Bromsgrove.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service from Redditch extinguished the blaze at around 5.40pm.
On arrival all occupants were out of the vehicle.
