AMAZON starts recruitment process for new Redditch site - expecting to create 200 jobs over two years.

The Amazon Sortation Centre at Redditch Eastern Gateway, which will start operations later this year, has started recruiting for a range of new roles including engineers, flow control specialists, robotics engineering specialists and team members who will ship customer orders.

The centre is being fitted with advanced Amazon Robotics technology which will help sort parcels from fulfilment centres before they are transported to delivery stations from where they are collected by drivers for delivery to customers.

“Along with the Town Centre plans and the investment we have received to make this reality, this latest news is further proof that we will deliver our promises. To have a key player like Amazon based in our town demonstrates that our potential is also recognised externally.”
