A WEEKEND full of delicious food and festive fun is set to come to Redditch town centre at the end of the month.
Following on from the success of last year’s debut Redditch BID’s ‘Festive Feast’ is back and this time incorporating a magical Christmas show too.
The food festival will run from Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27 on Church Green, and Market Place showcasing a wide range of flavours from around the world for visitors to sample including pizza, curries, and Caribbean cuisine.
It will be open for visitors from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
This year on a ‘Christmas Extravaganza’ will also be held on Saturday which is set to include performances from The D Day Darlings, Twist and Pulse and a Carnival of Lights parade, as well as a range of performances from local stars.
The show is expected to start at 12:00pm with the Carnival parade at 4.30 pm and the main Christmas Show starting at 6:00 pm.
Muj Rahman, business improvement district manager for Redditch said: “After a very successful event last year, we are very proud to welcome back the Festive Feast and the Christmas Extravaganza Show.
“It was incredibly well supported last year and this year we aim to make it bigger and better.
“Christmas has always been the time when everyone comes together, and we wanted to offer our community another chance to experience the infusion of emotions and joy the festive season brings.
“We want to make the celebration of Christmas an opportunity to gather the whole family and share moments of pure happiness.
“We challenge you to smile sincerely, to dance, to sing along and to make memorable memories with us.”
