A POP-UP art gallery is set to come to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch.

Arts in Redditch will be hosting a ten-day pop-up gallery featuring more than 50 artists who will be exhibiting more than 600 pieces of original art.

All the work is for sale and can be taken away on the day of purchase; there are also smaller items available, such as cards and prints, all based on artists’ original work.

Philip Roberts, one of the Trustees of Arts in Redditch, said: “As well as many of our regular exhibitors, of which we have over 100, we are delighted to be welcoming more new participants, who are looking forward to exhibiting with us for the first time.

“This will be another great opportunity for visitors to view the sheer breadth of local creative talent at work in Redditch, and the sales of these works help to fund our charitable aims.

“Once again, we are indebted to the management team and staff of the Kingfisher Centre, without whom these events would not be possible.”

Arts in Redditch is a registered charity and is a member of the Reimagine Redditch consortium.

The exhibition, which is organised and curated by the artists themselves, will be in Unit 10, Walford Walk, opposite Next from Thursday, May 18 to Sunday, May 28.
