AN alert has been issued by police after a Redditch home was targeted by attempted burglars.
The home on Woodberrow Lane in Crabbs Cross was targeted at 3am on Wednesday March 13.
PCSO Jamie Fisher put an alert on West Mercia Police's neighbourhood matters system after the incident.
He said: "We are appealing to the Redditch community for information following an attempted burglary at a home on Woodberrow Lane, Crabbs Cross, Redditch.
"The offender or offenders attempted to force entry to the home by attacking the locks at the rear of the property.
"It is believed that the offenders were attempting to steal a vehicle parked at the address."
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police online, quoting incident number 00030_i_13032024.
