MEMBERS of St Luke’s and Headless Cross Methodist Church will be pioneering a weekly cafe service as part of the Fresh Expressions movement.
Over recent years, Christians from all over the UK have been involved in innovative developments to try to change how people gather together to learn about Jesus and Fresh Expressions tries to encourage new people to get involved.
The cafe aims to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where young people and families can explore and experience Christianity using contemporary music, DVD and film, with cafe-style seating and refreshments.
Youngsters will also be offered teaching, art and craft activities.
Visitors are invited to the memorial hall at the church from Sunday, September 14 at 10.30am.
