THE Rev E Havergal wrote resigning his position as a member of the District Education Committee and the Astwood Bank Attendance Sub-Committee having left Feckenham.

He expressed his regrets at parting with the members and thanked the chairman and members for their friendly bearing towards him.

The chairman moved that the resignation be accepted and that a record be placed upon the minutes, and also conveyed to Mr Havergal, stating the committee regretted losing one of its most genial members.

Mr Millward seconded and Mr Gross supported the resolution, which was carried unanimously.
