Solihull Moors 0 Redditch United 2
Redditch went through to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, one away from the first round proper, with a comfortable victory at Damson Park.
Goals from Liam Francis and Jack Byrne sent them through but in reality it could have been more against a poor Solihull side who offered little.
Francis gave Solihull the lead on 34 minutes when he produced a back header from a Bridwater corner.
Redditch had dominated the first half, mainly having half chances, and Danny Lewis had little to do.
To be fair, Redditch played well, bossing the game and not letting Solihull in at any point in the first period.
The second half started with Byrne and Dance going close for Redditch before Byrne made it 2-0 on 53.
He reached a long ball forward from Asa Charlton before the goalkeeper Danny Crane and directed his shot from the edge of the box into the net.
Gary Hay should have made it three when Theo Streete made a mistake on the edge of the box, but he put his shot into the body of Crane.
Solihull seemed to finally wake up as the game wore on and Streete's header from a Greg Mills corner went just over.
But again Redditch could have made it three, Crane pulling off two good saves late on from Byrne and Dance.
Solihull had a shout for a penalty right at the end when Gardner went down in the box but the appeal was waved away.
