A PUB in Redditch has been congratulated for having excellent public toilets in the Loo of the Year Awards 2010.
The Royal Enfield in High Street, Redditch, was given the highest possible rating of five stars in the national awards scheme.
Inspectors toured the country visiting more than 1,500 toilets at a variety of sites, judging décor, maintenance, cleanliness and accessibility, as well as the hand washing and drying equipment, and overall management of the facilities.
James Doughty manages The Royal Enfield for Wetherspoons.
He said: "I am delighted with the award. Staff at the pub work hard to ensure that the toilets are in first-class condition at all times and it is great that this has been recognised by the inspectors.”
The Loo of the Year Awards 2010 director, Mike Bone, added: “The toilets at The Royal Enfield are superb and the pub richly deserves its five star rating.”
