Redrow are enticing youngsters to explore their own back gardens to discover how many different types of bugs they can find.
To help them, Redrow are offering to supply each youngster taking part with a free bug quest kit.
There's also a special £100 prize in the shape of an Amazon voucher on offer to the youngster who finds the most bugs.
The kits, which contains wildflower seeds, a magnifying glass, seeded paper with a bug tick list plus a pair of make your own binoculars can be collected from Redrow's Silverbrook Meadow development on Foxlydiate Lane.
Redrow sales director, Elaine Cartwright, said: "We want to encourage youngsters across Redditch to be curious about biodiversity and to learn more about the natural world - all from their own back garden>"
Children can also track down the bugs in local green spaces or even at Redrow's showhome gardens.
The winner will be able to spend the voucher on supplies to make their garden more bug friendly or to help with future bug hunting activities.
