THE Doors Alive, a British tribute band widely regarded as the closest and most enthralling representation of legendary 60s rock gods The Doors, are coming to Bromsgrove.
To commemorate 40 years since Jim Morrison’s untimely passing in Paris in 1971, the band will be playing the Artrix as part of their biggest tour to date.
The band re-create the sound, look, presence and magic of a real 60s Doors concert, perfectly and effortlessly transporting the audience back in time with classic hits such as Light My Fire, When The Music's Over, Riders On The Storm, The End and many more.
To achieve that authentic 60s sound, the band use the very same instruments that members of the Doors originally used.
These include vintage keyboards such as Gibson, the Fender Rhodes bass and the vintage Gibson SG Guitar.
Willie Scott captures the look, attitude, and rich baritone voice of the late, great Jim Morrison with ease while his band mates showcase the musical skills of original Doors members Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore.
The Doors Alive will be at the Artrix on October 8.
