A BAND from Redditch has raised an amazing £1,400 for charity Help for Heroes.
The band, comprising Oliver Hogan, James Macpherson, Jeremy Dobbins and Michael Herrera, played a special show at the Redditch Masonic Hall last week.
More than 120 people came to the gig, which also included a raffle, a guess the weight of the cake competition, name the band competition and Help for Heroes’ merchandise Organiser Gary Hogan said: “It was a great night, everybody gave generously and thoroughly enjoyed the gig.
“The band have worked so hard in order to raise money for the charity and I believe that £1,400 is a massive accomplishment.”
The money will go toward helping those who have been wounded in Britain's current conflicts.
