ROWNEY Green Players will be performing at the Palace Theatre.
Set in 1964, Chase Me Comrade, by Ray Cooney, has been described as a delicious, crazy farce.
A Russian male ballet dancer has defected to the west with a beautiful ballet dancer, to hide with her friends in the country.
However, the house where he is concealed belongs to a naval commander whose duty it would be to hand him over to the authorities.
So the commander's daughter and her fiancé get involved and the end result is a game of hide and seek in which everybody is pretending to be everybody else.
The show runs from October 19 to 22 starting at 7.30pm.
