SAUNDERS Pauline Passed away peacefully on 22/02/22, aged 102. Pauline will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A former Senior Mistress at St. Augustine's School and teacher of French, History and R.I. Also a life Member of The Friends of Auxerre and instigator of School Twinning between Redditch and Auxerre. A service to celebrate Pauline's life will take place at Redditch Crematorium on Monday 28th March 2022 at 11.45 a.m. No flowers. Donations if desired to Cancer Research U.K. may be sent to Thomas Brothers The Funeral Directors 100 Alcester Road, Wythall B47 5HA 01564 822001. Thank you

So many happy memories of trips to Auxerre, and especially to the south of France with the gitologists, along with Bill, Edna, Riv, Diana, Peter, John, Bob - all now sadly gone but not forgotten; Pauline was always our guide and leader then, a rock to rely on if problems arose and needed fluent resolution, a good friend and happy companion always. I will never forget her and always will be most thankful to have known her.
My love to her family, and condolences in their sadness, which I share.
My her dear soul rest in peace.
