O'CONNELL Patrick John Colonel Of the Royal Pioneer Corps. Passed away peacefully on 25th January 2023, in Leicestershire aged 92 years. Beloved Husband to the late Megan, much loved Dad to Simon, Alyson, Clare and the late Adrian. Father in law to Dorro and Pete. Loving Grandad/Poppa to Alex, Katie, Jack, Emma and Ed. A true gentleman and poineer all his life who was admired and respected by many. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him. Patrick's funeral service will be held at St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Knighton Road, Leicester, on Monday 27th February at 10:45am followed by committal at South Leicestershire Crematorium.
