He had such a wonderful life and it was so fascinating to hear his stories. He was full of old rhymes, facts and jokes. He was the best grandpa anyone could have wished for. Not to mention he was the best cook! I loved his cooking!
The bond my Daughter had with him and has with her grandma is so incredibly special and it brings me comfort knowing she has his heart with her always. It’s beautiful to know she spent 7 years getting to know him.
She said the other day, she is going to meet him in her dreams with some pork pie and brown sauce. We often spent our lunch times with him and this was what he often had.
Forever loved by us all. We will miss him dearly. Thank you for being our grandpa we love you. X
Will miss you until I see you again.

We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again.
I will miss you and love you forever Dad,
All my love
Jackie x
