AFTER weeks of preparation the day is finally here - the unveiling of the new Range superstore in Redditch.

Hundreds of people turned up for the opening of the store, in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, which took place earlier today.

It was officially opened by mayor of Redditch, councillor Jenny Wheeler.

The grand opening kicked off at 9am with amazing giveaways for the first 50 people in the queue, including a Monty Bojangles Truffle Hamper for the first in-line.

Free radio’s promo team were in-store to entertain the customers and there was a competition for one lucky customer to win a £250 gift card to spend at their brand new store.

The celebrations are set to continue over the weekend with free children’s face painting and a free craft demonstrations.
