A DAD was racially assaulted and spat on during an attack in Redditch.
A man is reported to have got out of his car on Reyde Close and approached another that was stationary due to a traffic obstruction.
He then pulled and twisted the car's wing mirror, opened the door, shouted racist abuse at the driver and spat at him.
The incident took place at about 8.45am on March 7.
Constable Martyn Dudley from Redditch Police Station said: "This was a racist verbal and physical assault on a dad who'd just dropped his child off at school, and it was extremely distressing for him.
"It was a busy time of day and we know that there would have been many drivers - perhaps other parents or carers on the school run - who saw it happen, so we'd urge them to get in touch and support our investigation. We'd especially like to speak to anyone who has dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage of the incident."
The man who committed the assault is described as white, aged 25 to 35 years, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, athletic built, short light brown or blonde hair, wearing a beige jumper, and he spoke with a London or Essex accent.
His car is described as silver, possibly a Volkswagen golf.
