TV and filmstar Charles Dance will be staring in Shadowlands at the Malvern Theatres.
The first major revival of the acclaimed play will be performed in only four theatres across the country before moving to the West End.
The moving play charts the true love story between CS Lewis, played by Dance and Joy Gresham, played by award winning actress Janie Dee.
Famous in his day as a scholar and a broadcaster, Lewis is perhaps best known as the author of the classic books The Chronicles of Narnia.
A confirmed bachelor into his 50s, he met and married an American woman, known for her outspoken views, and their astonishing story has become a testament to the unpredictable nature of love and its enduring legacy.
The play has won the BAFTA film of the year as well as being nominated for Olivier and Tony Awards.
It is on from Monday, September 17 To Saturday, September 22 at 8pm.
Tickets cost £18-£26 from 01684 892277.
