VANDALISM and litter around the mosque being built in Jinnah Road in Redditch are areas of concern for residents.
Three priorities were selected at the PACT meeting for Central ward, which covers the Smallwood and Southcrest areas.
Local policing officer Pc Jon Watts said: "Residents expressed their concerns about the burnt-out mobile cabins and rubbish dumped near the site of the new mosque and this is one issue the PACT panel will seek to address over the coming weeks.
"They will also be looking at the need for hedges to be trimmed and litter to be cleared in Union Street, as well as ongoing parking issues in Plymouth Road, Unicorn Hill and other town centres roads."
Police and partners will be working together to address these issues and will report their progress at the next meeting at 7pm on Monday, October 1 at the Centre Point Club in Ipsley Street.
