THE British Heart Foundation is taking steps to beat heart disease at a sponsored walk around Oversley Green.
The Alcester fundraising group is organising the walk in Alcester on Sunday, September 23 starting at Elm Drive at 2pm, with all cash going to the national charity.
The gentle, four-mile circular walk includes a stroll through the scenic countryside and a hidden haven of wildlife.
Tea and cakes will also be provided to those taking part upon their return.
Donna Stokes, the BHF's fundraising manager for Warwickshire, said: "We rely on the support of people like the Alcester fundraising group to help continue our lifesaving work."
Entry is free but sponsorship or a donation is encouraged. For more details, call Tony Wilkes on 01789 488268.
