Special music was rendered by the choir, who were assisted by Mr E Hodges.
The hymn that was sung was Sing to the Lord of Harvest and Miss Hall sang the soprano solo very effectively.
A special service was held in the afternoon.
Addresses were given by the Rev CF Perry and Mr NB Nash.
The church was decorated with Catherine Toustout roses.
The total proceeds of the services this year was considerably more than last year.
