YET another clubbing compilation album has hit our stores and the question on all those fluorescent stick fans' lips is how does it compare to the rest?
The answer is that it's pretty mixed.
There are some very strong tracks such as Daft Punk's greatest song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, a class remix of Mark Ronson's Stop Me and Nothing But a Heartache by Freemasons.
However, there seems to be quite a lot of fillers. Songs by Sonny J, Ericke and Wink won't get the pulses racing of the casual listener and a lot of the music's effect will be lost if you are not in a dingy nightclub after a few (dozen) pints.
The good thing about this album is that when you put it on you can lie back, forget about the troubles of the world and picture yourself on a hot and sweaty night out.
International wars, economic strife and climate change don't mean a thing when you're listening to Acceptable in the 80s by Calvin Harris.
