SURESTART'S popular fathers' breakfast club will be running fortnightly in Batchley.
The club proved so popular during trials sessions in Batchley and Abbeydale earlier this year that it will run every other Saturday at Batchley Community Centre in Cherry Tree Walk.
Activities will include arts and crafts, junk modelling, baby play, soft play area, a giant Connect 4 and outdoor activities. Light refreshments will also be provided.
Fathers' worker Rob Lovegrove, who will be running the sessions, said: "I will be listening to dads' ideas and will look at getting outside facilitators to come in and provide different activities and sessions.
"There will be a small voluntary contribution of £1 per session per family to fund the snacks and enhance the group's activities. I would like dads who come along to help name the group, so please come and tell me your ideas."
To find out more, call Rob on 534150 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
