CHRISTMAS is coming early at Redditch Jobcentre when 150 seasonal jobs will be on offer.
The Christmas Jobsfair will help residents find full and part time work with a host of employers such as Tesco, BHS and TK Maxx.
Most of the jobs are temporary, though some positions may become permanent in the New Year.
Liz Blizzard, labour market recruitment adviser for Jobcentre, said: "It couldn't be easier to apply for the Christmas jobs on offer in Redditch this year - just call into our jobsfair.
"We'll tell you about all the vacancies that fit your requirements and tell you how to apply."
Jobcentre advisers will also be available to talk to people about a range of extra help, including support for people aged 50 plus, lone parents wanting to return to work and people with disabilities.
Liz added: "More and more people are recognising the benefits of short-term seasonal work as a great way to sample different jobs and develop or maintain skills for their future career.
"For some people, such as parents with young children, or people who want to return to work after ill health or a disability, seasonal work can be particularly beneficial.
"It can fit in with individuals' lifestyles, childcare or just provide a way of easing back into full time, permanent employment."
The Christmas Jobsfair will be on Friday, September 21 at the Kingfisher Centre from 10am-3pm.
