RECRUITS at 480 (Studley) Squadron Air Training Corps have been celebrating after a month of recent successes.

Cpl Rob Johnson received a gold medal for the high jump and Sgt James Roy received a silver medal for the 200 meters at the Wing sports day - a collection of activities featuring swimming and shooting.

The squadron reached the quarter finals in the Wing football tournament and also took part in the Annual Wing Field Day Drill competition and finished 10th out of 23 squadrons.

All the events were organised by the Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing of the Air Training Corps and were open to all squadrons within the wing to take part.

Anyone interested in joining the training corps can visit their headquarters in Pool Road, Studley, on Monday or Thursday evenings at 7.30pm.
