THIS is the moment more than 40 police officers stormed a Redditch pub following suspicions of illegal activity.

The video footage was sent to the Advertiser by a reader who happened to be driving past the Duck Inn pub on Pheasant Lane at the time.

Officers, followed by sniffer dogs, raided the pub yesterday.

A police spokesman confirmed that a multiagency operation was led at the Duck Inn, as part of Operation Protect.

They said: "The warrant led to a car with no insurance being recovered, a large quantity of cash and goods were seized and will be reviewed as part of an on-going investigation.

"Other offences at the premises are being investigated by partner agencies and a prohibition order has been placed on the address by Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service."

No arrests were made.
