THE baddest bad boy in hip hop is back and he's angry - angrier than he's ever been before.
50 Cent said he would retire from the business if he didn't outsell Graduation by Kanye West, which was released on the same day.
This album was hyped up like never before but, as Public Enemy would say, don't believe the hype.
In all fairness, 50 Cent is the best artist releasing material at the moment in an old school, back to basics, street rap kind of style.
While Kanye came from a middle class background, 50 Cent has lived through drugs, jail and shootings and knows what he is talking about.
The songs are very slickly produced and there are brilliant contributions from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Eminem and Mary J Blige.
This album will give all classic rap fans what they want but at the end of the day it adds nothing new to 50's previous albums and while his debut had a very fresh sound, the style of the music is starting to sound a little tired.
