AFTER their wedding at Studley Parish Church on Saturday, a couple travelled by airliner to their honeymoon destination in Newcastle, near Belfast, Northern Ireland.
They were Miss Joan Spray, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs William Spray, of Studley, and Mr David Ernest Sheen, the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Horace Sheen, of Crabbs Cross.
The bride wore a silver lace gown over net and white taffeta, with a circular orange blossom head-dress which held a waist length veil in place.
Two bridesmaids, dressed in pink rosebuds, with floral head-dresses, and carrying matching muffs, attended the bride. They were Miss Anona Marie Sheen, the bridegroom's sister, and Miss Lynn Yvonne Gregory, the bridegroom's cousin.
Mr Donald Bird was best man and the Rev D A G Atcheson conducted the ceremony.
