A 20-year-old woman had £75 and her mobile phone stolen when a thief took a bag from her children's pushchair.
The victim was walking down Prospect Hill, towards the town centre at 9.15am on Friday, September 21, pushing her two young children.
A man approached from behind and grabbed her bag from on top of the pushchair and ran off in the direction of the town.
He was described as white, in his early 20s, with a skinny build and short dark hair.
He was wearing a light-coloured tracksuit made of a thin material and dark coloured trainers.
The bag was brown and medium-sized with two short handles and a gold buckle, which contained a black imitation leather purse with pink lines across the front.
In it were utility cards, a HSBC bank card, a pink Motorola phone and four keys on a keyring.
