MR Bean is back and his luck seems to have got even worse - if that's possible.
This time the misfortunate idiot wins a holiday to France at a church raffle, but because some of his journey involves such complicated tasks as eating and using public transport, it all goes horribly wrong.
Just days into his holiday, with his mind firmly fixed on getting to Cannes, Mr Bean finds himself looking after a young French boy who becomes separated from his father - thanks to the stupidity of Bean.
This is by no stretch of the imagination a great comedy and I can understand some people's hatred for the character, but this film is still sometimes amusing and vaguely pleasurable to watch.
There are one or two quite funny moments, particularly one where Bean does a great performance to Shaggy's Mr Boombastic in the middle of a French market place, but sadly hilarious moments are few and far between.
This film is watchable and most kids will probably love it but maybe it's time for the producers to start thinking about canning Bean.
