THE club held its September Meeting at the Quality Hotel, Redditch.

After welcoming members, and honorary members, president Pat Pritchard introduced the evening's speaker.

She was Lynda Kettle, who works in TV, film and theatre production design.

Lynda has been a costume and set designer in theatre, films and television for many years.

She was an experienced organiser in studio and film locations, working on dramas such as Angels, Howard's Way and Dangerfield, also on situation comedies such as Two Point Four Children, and arts series, children's programmes, quiz shows, chat shows and light entertainment.

During her talk, Lynda showed models of some of the sets she had designed and told of her ambitions and how she had achieved them in a very interesting life behind the scenes of the entertainment industry.

She has now branched out to become a freelance designer and is using her skills in many different ways.

The vote of thanks was given by Liz Ostroumoff.
