COUGHTON Court is running a series of lecture lunches each Friday during October.
The historic property is inviting speakers from a whole range of backgrounds to give talks on their speciality, followed by a lunch.
On October 12, Say Cheese with David Fowler of Fowlers Farmhouse Cheesemakers will include the history of cheese as well as offering a taste of some of the award winning cheeses they produce.
The Awakening of a Sleeping Musical Giant will be the topic on October 19 as Simon Wales will talk about the excitement and challenges of re-opening Birmingham's Town Hall.
Finally, on October 26, National Trust conservator Julie Marsden will speak about Conserving our Past with an insight in to how the trust cares for its many treasures.
The lectures all run from 11.30am and tickets must be pre-booked on 01789 400777.
