MEADOW Green Primary School has received a good rating from Ofsted for the quality and standards of care it provides for pupils.
The inspection, which took place at the end of last term, found the school offered its pupils a good education.
Standards achieved by pupils were well above average while personal development and wellbeing, care, guidance and support as well as leadership and management were all graded as outstanding.
Headteacher Sue Watkins said she was thrilled with the report.
"The children are at the heart of everything we do here at Meadow Green and it's great to have this recognised by Ofsted.
"It is a very happy and caring school and I'm immensely proud of all the pupils and staff," she said.
