STAFF at Redditch YMCA's Holiday Playscheme are delighted Ofsted inspectors have rated their service as good in all categories.
The playscheme, a childcare facility for children aged five to 14, runs during school holidays at its community centre in Church Hill.
Darren Veness, Redditch YMCA's youth services manager, said: "I'm delighted that the high standard of care we provide has been formally recognised.
"The comment lots of interesting experiences and activities are planned to keep children absorbed and interested,' was particularly relevant as the staff put a lot of thought into the facilities provided for the children."
The report said that Redditch YMCA strives to ensure all children and young people in its care are given opportunities to be fit and healthy.
The report also said the importance of fresh air and exercise is well promoted as children enjoy a wide range of sports and games both inside and outside where children enjoy bug hunts, circle games and using large apparatus, such as swings and climbing frames.
The group's playscheme will be running during the autumn half term from October 22-26.
