IT was denim heaven in Redditch on Friday as schools, offices and other organisations took part in national Jeans for Genes day.

Jeans for Genes is a national appeal where thousands of people across the UK throw out the usual dress rules, jump into their jeans and donate money to help children with genetic disorders.

One of the organisations taking part in Redditch was Little Miss Muffets nursery in Headless Cross, where staff and youngsters donned their jeans and had some fun.
