A LARGE quantity of cash has been stolen during a street robbery in Beoley Road West.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was punched and forced to hand over £370 cash by two men who got away through a footpath between houses towards Grange Road.
The men are both described as young. The first was Asian, aged about 18, with a slim build and black collar-length hair in a centre parting. He had a fine goatee beard and was wearing a dark blue tracksuit top, black jeans and white trainers.
The second thief was a light skinned black man aged between 18 and 22 with a stocky build. He had a gold tooth and his left eyebrow was partially shaved. He was wearing a dark 'beanie' hat, black casual jacket and black jeans.
The victim received minor facial injuries but did not need medical treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery, which took place on Monday, October 8 between 11-11.15am is being asked to contact DC Adrian Smith at Reddtich CID on 08457 444888 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
