POLICE have raided a home in Batchley after a tip-off from neighbours.
The raid took place in Salters Lane earlier today and involved officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, Task Force and the Local Policing Priorities Team.
A small cannabis growing operation was found.
The plants have been seized and an investigation is underway.
A police spokesman said no arrests were made at the scene.
PC Stone, who led the operation after acting on local intelligence, said: “Drugs can blight local communities and we need to get them off the streets when we can."
Inspector Lee Page, Safer Neighbourhood Team, added: "This followed information received from the local community and I would encourage anyone concerned about drug activity in their area to call us on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
Two stolen cars were also found as part of the raid.
Officers said they were discovered after some "good old fashioned snooping around".
They added that the cars were stolen only a few days ago but had seen better days.
