THE best GP surgeries in Redditch according to patients have been revealed as part of an annual NHS survey.

Hillview Medical Centre on Bromsgrove Road ranked the highest for overall experience with 93 per cent of patients describing their experiences of the GP practices as good.

St Stephens Street Surgery scored the lowest for overall experience with 71 per cent of patients rating their experiences as good - below the Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG average of 87 per cent.

The figures come from the NHS’s annual GP Patient Survey which reveals how doctor’s surgeries in Redditch were rated by patients between January and March – just weeks before the country went into lockdown because of coronavirus.

Residents were asked for their opinion on a variety of elements with practices, from booking appointments, waiting times, out-of-hours services and the quality of care given.
