The new owner of Redditch United is opening the stadium doors in the hope of enticing more fans to throw their support behind the team.
The club is holding an open weekend next weekend to welcome the the community back to the Trico Stadium.
The family event on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, is free to attend.
It will give supporters an opportunity to see United’s newly assembled squad in an open training session (Saturday), as well as other activities on the pitch.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to see the improvements made around the club, including the newly refurbished and renamed 1891 Lounge, renovated changing rooms and the new outdoor bar selling refreshments, with all draft only £2.50 a pint.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to purchase our £99 season tickets and new merchandise.
Club owenr and new chairman David Faulkner said: “We’re excited to welcome supporters back to the Trico and show them all the hard work that has been taking place to improve the club.
"It is our hope that this event will further strengthen the bond between the Reds players, staff, and supporters ahead of the new season.”
The gates will open at 9am on both days with First Team Manager Wayne Spicer holding a training session on the pitch at 12.30.
Other Club events are being held throughout the day, you can also meet new tenants Feckenham FC, or spot future talent as Redditch United Academy players are put through their paces. Sunday will see a number of small sided games between Junior teams.
Food will be served all day.
