POLICE have asked the public to respect the privacy of Colton Bryan's family after officially confirming the identity of the murder victim.
The popular musician died at his home following a stabbing in Guinness Close on Wednesday (July 15).
The 22-year-old has now been formally identified by police. Detective Inspector Mark Walters said: “I’d like to ask that the privacy of Colton’s family be respected at this very difficult time.”
Both Mohammed Hussain, aged 24, from Oakfield Drive, Birmingham, and 20-year-old Faisel Fiaz, from Millsbro Road, Redditch, have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Adam Carpenter, aged 20, from Wharrington Hill, Redditch, will face trial next month after being charged with conspiring to rob musician Colton Bryan.
All three have been remanded in custody as part of the investigation into Colton's death.
