Who are you? We’re a local specialist provider of bespoke software and website design/hosting serving Redditch and the surrounding areas.
When did you open and why? We opened in 2018 as we noticed a need in the market for small businesses to have somewhere to go to get digital help. We’d seen many businesses struggle to get a website built due to high costs and a lack of support from the provider. Many businesses were getting overcharged for a poor service. It was very clear in the first six months of us starting that we were needed.
Tell us about your business? We pride ourselves on having 100% customer satisfaction and hitting 100% of deadlines. Customers can come to us and have a website or bespoke piece of software designed, built and implemented into their business, without the worry of huge unexpected bills and jargon. Our pricing is clear and we work around the customer’s needs.
How did you decide on the name? Both directors are from Redditch and we started our business in Redditch. The second part comes from our mission statement to help businesses branch out in a digital age, so “Connected” seemed like the best fit as we want to connect businesses to customers they might previously have missed.
Who works there? We have a great team who all our clients know. Our team is always on hand to help with any queries or issues.
Who are your customers? We’ve got a wide variety of customers ranging from individuals to bigger organisations. Some of our most notable clients are The National Traction Engine Trust, Scuba School Limited and Tomorrow’s Future Spares & Recycling (all based in Redditch).
What is your proudest moment in business? Probably getting our office. We started the business in a pub and worked from home for almost the first two years, then we managed to get the funds together to get a small office where we can meet clients.
What are your ambitions for the future? We’re hoping to help even more businesses get online and we aim to become a “well-known” name in the area for this type of service.
Anything else you would like to add? We host all of our services in the UK. We use the latest technologies and have services spread across two data centres.
