A POLL has revealed the most popular places to live in Worcestershire.
Lifestyle site Muddy Stilettos asked its readers to vote for their favourites, with the ultimate aim of compiling a Top 200 Best Places to Live guide.
Tenbury Wells topped the list, while Malvern came in second and Broadway third.
A spokeswoman for Muddy Stilettos said: “From market towns to villages, hamlets to commuter favourites, each of the 200 locations were independently picked by the highly trusted editorial team and then over 21,000 readers went on to vote.
“Tenbury Wells was voted as the most popular place to live in Worcestershire with its bustling community, plenty of great schools on the doorstep, plus an easily accessible commute into London.
“Rolling countryside, riverside living, a gentrified pace of life and an average house price of £252,227 make it a real all-round winner.”
According to the poll, the top eight most popular places to live in Worcestershire were:
- Tenbury Wells
- Malvern
- Broadway
- Bewdley
- Worcester
- Pershore
- Upton-upon-Severn
- Droitwich Spa
Hero Brown, the founder and editor-in-chief of Muddy Stilettos, said: “When people move out of London they are searching for more than just a house, they want to find a new lifestyle that works for them.
"This exclusive reader vote will give them a fresh perspective to make their search easier.
“This reader vote now gives a truly independent view on living during a year of lockdowns in many towns and village with popular postcodes, schools, restaurants and more.”
