THE number of recorded coronavirus cases in Worcestershire increased by 367 in the last 24 hours, official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 38,037 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Tuesday (July 13) in Worcestershire, up from 37,670 the same time on Monday.
The rate of infection in Worcestershire now stands at 6,384 cases per 100,000 people, lower than the England average of 8,018.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 36,216 over the period, to 5,191,459.
Worcestershire's cases were among the 492,104 recorded across the West Midlands, a figure which rose by 3,637 over the period.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
