REDDITCH MP Rachel Maclean is urging residents to support the town’s small and independent businesses this summer.
With the school holidays now in full swing, Mrs Maclean hopes families will help to support the local economy and the town’s businesses to bounce back from the impact of the pandemic.
As the economy has re-opened, Mrs Maclean has launched her #SupportLocal campaign.
Shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and charities all feature on the #SupportLocal section of Mrs Maclean's website and social media channels to encourage residents to support them.
Mrs Maclean said: “With the school summer holidays now in full swing, make sure to #SupportLocal this summer by backing Redditch’s small and independent businesses.
“Our town is full of so many great businesses, as well as things to see and do, and they could all do with our support following the impact of the pandemic.
“From the Forge Mill Needle Museum to the brand-new play area at the Arrow Valley Country Park – there’s a lot you can do in Redditch this summer.
“And if you can, make sure to support our brilliant independent cafes and restaurants when you’re out and about.
“If there’s a local business you think should be featured on the #SupportLocal section on my website, then please let me know by sending an email to rachel.maclean.mp@parliament.uk.
“Let’s #SupportLocal this summer and help our businesses to bounce back.”
