PLANS have been put forward to build a 10 bedroom house of multiple occupancy (HMO) on land next to a medical centre in Redditch.
The proposed site off Tanhouse Lane is in between Churchill Medical Centre and St Andrew’s Methodist Church
The applicants Mr and Mrs Ian Young are hoping to let the property on the open market to working professionals.
Proposals include four car parking spaces at the front of the building and associated landscaping.
The design and access statement says: "The proposed ground floor will comprise kitchen, dining and living area, two bedrooms, ground floor toilet and a utility room.

"The proposed first floor will comprise four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The second floor will comprise four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
"The layout of the site will include parking spaces at the front, the proposed property in the middle and garden space at the rear.
"The landscaping to the front of the site will consist of a paved area that will include 4no. car parking bays.
"To the rear there will be soft landscaping such as grass with the existing trees at the rear of the site being retained."
The proposals are to be considered by Redditch Borough Council.
