A MAN from Inkberrow has been jailed for six months after driving whilst disqualified on several occasions.
George Morrisey of Ross Crescent was sentenced by magistrates at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on September 6 and received a further driving ban of 27 months.
The 30-year-old was caught several times by police between April and September 2021.
Morrisey drove five times whilst disqualified; three times in Redditch, once in Stratford Upon Avon and once in Inkberrow.
PC Sam Hughes from Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "George Morrisey has shown a blatant disregard for the law over the past 6 months, he has been caught driving several times but has continued to drive.
“Hopefully today’s sentence will prove a deterrent to Morrisey when he is released from prison and will send a message to any other individual who does not have a driving licence that they could be sent to prison”
