RAGLEY Hall is set to host a brand new musical theatre festival next year.
The inaugural Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival comes to the hall next May and will see a host of West End stars perform show-stopping numbers in a celebration of all things musical theatre.
The main stage line up is yet to be revealed but all the music will be provided by the acclaimed London Musical Theatre Orchestra.
The orchestra is the world’s only professional orchestra dedicated to performing musical theatre repertoire and has sold out venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Dominion, the Lyceum and the London Palladium.
Mike Wilson, producer of the festival, said: "We are beyond excited to be staging this unique homage to musical theatre at a time in which our industry is celebrating its renaissance. Gaiety Festival is very much designed with fans in mind with every aspect of the experience tailored to delight theatre audiences. We look forward to welcoming festival-goers from across the country to Ragley Hall on 1st May 2022."
Freddie Tapner, CEO and artistic director at the LMTO, added: "The London Musical Theatre Orchestra is thrilled to be part of this hugely exciting event.
"Accompanying multiple top-flight artists at a single festival will be a unique thrill, and I know audiences will relish hearing their favourite acts belt their favourite songs all day long. Bring it on!"
Priority booking for tickets opens Monday November 8 at 10am and general release takes place on Wednesday November 10 at 10am.
